GENERAL

The 12th Atlantic Training Camp will be held at Les Aventuriers Ski Club in Charlo, NB during 20/21 August 2016. All NB, NL, NS and PE athletes are invited to participate. The camp program will consist of shooting, roller ski training, fitness sessions, mental training, special presentations and a Mass Start competition, to be run as a formal run and shoot competition.

CAMP DETAILS

Dates: Arrival Friday evening 19 August for out-of-town participants staying overnight, and Saturday and Sun, 20/21 August 2016, end at 14:30 hrs Sunday.

Location: Les Aventuriers, Charlo. Registration Fee: $70.00 – covers Saturday’s supper, coaching support, camp ammunition, special guests and presentations and a camp keepsake.

Membership: Each candidate must be a member of Biathlon Canada for the season 2016/17

Coaches: Trent Martin (Camp Director), Mike Lushington, Natalie Landry, Kevin Heppell, Gabrielle Landry and other coaches TBA.

Arrival Information: Les Aventuriers Development Building for out-of-town, Friday, 19 August 2016. Equipment: Out-of-town participants, if staying in the Development Bldg, need to bring the following: sleeping bag, air mattress or pad, towels and toiletries. For all: clothing for indoor and outdoor training (including inclement weather), rifles as available, roller skis and poles and safety gear. All Biathlon NB rifles must be brought

ACCOMMODATION, TRANSPORTATION AND MEALS: All participants are responsible for their own travel, accommodations and meals as arranged by their club or division. However, accommodation will be available at Les Aventuriers in the Development Building or tenting on the grounds. As all accommodation information has not yet been confirmed, additional information will be provided shortly about the accommodations and the costs The evening meal for Saturday will be sponsored by Biathlon NB.

REGISTRATION AND CONTACT INFORMATION All participants, including coaches and supporters (if having the Saturday meal or using the accommodation options), must be registered on Zone 4 by the division, club or individual.
